Aquafine 52885-DS15Z UV Lamp / Bulb for OptiVenn UV Series

Aquafine color guard UV lamps are purposely manufactured with ceramic lamp bases which offers numerous advantages over non-ceramic material. Ceramic lamps have a greater high voltage electrical insulation, superior strength, rigidity, improved temperature tolerance, and are impervious to UV degradation. Aquafine color guard UV lamps are exclusive to Aquafine and make mixing of different lamp types virtually impossible during change-out.

This is a genuine Aquafine OEM replacement High Output (HX) lamp and should be replaced every 12 months for optimal sterilization and safety. AFter market or "Knock off" lamps have been sold by our competitors with the promise of being "as good as Aquafine." This is not the case. Field failure of these lamps can and has gone undetected until unacceptable bacteria counts have caused a real problem. Aquafine's record for quality and performance is unmatched.

As well as Aquafine’s rigorous testing, lamps also undergo a complete lamp “burn in” procedure prior to shipping, are individually challenged, traceable and shipped complete with documentation. High output lamps feature a higher UV intensity output.

Aquafine #52885-DS15Z high output single ended replacement UV lamps are designed only for use in OptiVenn Series UV sterilizers. We do not recommend that you attempt to use Aquafine replacement lamps in models made by other manufacturers.

It is critical that only genuine Trojan Aquafine brand original equipment lamps be used in your Aquafine system. It has come to our attention that a number of Chinese manufacturers are making knock-off replica UV lamps. While they may physically fit in an Aquafine system, they are NOT compatible. Testing of a wide range of these lamps has shown that many do not provide a safe UV dose or offer protection for the stated lamp life, and in some cases have even caused the failure of the ballast/controller and melting of the lamp harness.

The use of Non-Genuine lamps will void safety certifications (UL, CSA etc.) and damage other system components such as connectors, lamp plugs and ballasts leading to even higher operations and maintenance costs and increased maintenance. We only sell Genuine OEM replacement parts.
