This is the genuine original equipment replacement UV power supply / controller / ballast for the Trojan UVMax Models B and C UV sterilizers. This ballast replaces the blue controller box that came with the original Trojan UVMax Model C. It also replaces the original blue ballast #650716-005 for the UVMax Model B.

Question:WILL LSE LIGHTING 602805 WORK WITH THAT UNIT

The LSE LIGHTING 602805 is a knock-off lamp and is not recommended for use with any Viqua, Sterilight, or Trojan UVMax products as they may damage your system, not provide adequate disinfection, and void your warranty. Viqua has the following to say about knock-off lamps: "It is critical that only genuine Viqua brand original equipment lamps be used in your system. It has come to our attention that a number of Chinese manufacturers are making knock-off replica UV lamps. While they may physically fit in a Viqua system, they are NOT compatible. Testing of a wide range of these lamps has shown that many do not provide a safe UV dose or offer protection for the stated lamp life, and in some cases have even caused the failure of the ballast/controller and melting of the lamp harness." Part #650378 is for the whole discontinued Trojan UVMax Model C system. This is only the replacement ballast / power supply for that system.
