A great filter !5 Stars
I have had this filter a month now and I cannot believe how much rust and dirt it has collected. My well water is med to high in iron so I was not sure of whet to expect. I wanted to enclose a pic but not sure how, but it has worked better than I expected. Wish I had this sooner. I will be buying more. - Scott M.

I am happy with the price of the filter but I’m sad that I couldn’t get the grooved filter as I don’t think this smooth filter will keep working as long as the grooved. - Ed

Viqua CMB-510-HF Customer Questions & Answers

Question:What is the difference between cbc-10 filters and cfbc-10 filters?
Answer(s):

The CFBC series uses a proprietary technology to place a powdered activated carbon into a cellulose-free synthetic fiber material, whereas the CBC Series is a traditional carbon block. The advantage of the proprietary design of the CFBC series is that it will offer less pressure loss (better flow rate performance) and longer life.
