UV Lamps & Sleeves
The lamp and sleeve are integral parts of your UV water sterilization system. UV lamps are engineered to last for 9000 hours, which means they generally need to be replaced annually. Even though the lamp may still illuminate after that time, it is not generating sufficient UVC energy to properly disinfect your water. While many VIQUA UV systems have built-in diagnostics to signal you when it's time to replace the lamp, they also offer a reminder service via email.
VIQUA lamps are manufactured with high quality components to exacting specifications to ensure performance and safety. Using a lamp that was not designed by VIQUA for a VIQUA UV system introduces risk. While other lamps may seem to fit a VIQUA system, its performance or safety simply can't be guaranteed.
