Pentek CBC Series carbon block filters are specialy designed to be highly effective at reducing unwanted taste, odor and chlorine from drinking water. Due to the unique structure of the carbon block, the CBC Series filters can reduce Giardia, Cryptosporidium, Entamoeba, and Toxoplasma cysts and fine sediment particles down to 0.5 microns (based on manufacturer's internal testing).
CBC Series cartridges are made using a specialized manufacturing process and are composed entirely of FDA-compliant materials. They are commonly used in a wide range of residential, food service, commercial and industrial applications, as well as for polishing filters or prefilters in applications where fine filtration or high filtration capacity are required.
