Pentek DFX Series cartridges are an innovative combination of Pentek's sediment and carbon block filter technologies.
The DFX Diamond Flow provides the standard removal of bad tastes, odors, and chlorine expected from a regular carbon block filter; however, it also offers excellent sediment reduction from its exterior filter layer of Polypropylene Polyspun (down to a level of 10-microns*). By providing the carbon block interior with built-in sediment protection, the DFX series has double the resistance to plugging than other normal carbon block filters.*
These cartridges are suitable for a large variety of uses, and are specifically useful in point-of-use applications (due to their combination of sediment and carbon block filter into one unit).
